In FS9, when you cross a timezone boundary, the instrument-panel clock automatically jumps forward or back by an hour. In a real aircraft, there is no magic little elf behind the panel to do this for you. If you wanted the clock to read local time, you would have to set it yourself when your navigational skills had determined that you were in a new timezone.

In the interest of realism, I am looking for a way of throwing that elf off of my flights.

Personally if I could afford a real aircraft and frequently flew to new timezones, I would keep the clock set to UTC all the time. And that is the option I wish I had on FS9.

Does anybody know of an add-on that: 1) Disables the auto timezone update, and 2) Permits you to set timezone independently of geographic location?
