aircraft placement

I have the problem of when i select for the aircraft to be placed on the runway fsx places it by the side of the runway and i was wondering if it can corrected and how

Hmm, new one for me. You have all your scenery libraries selected? Video card drivers up to date?

With FSX running click the Learning Center button, Index tab, click on "S" look for Slew Overview. Maybe that can help?

In Free Flight clicking Fly Now, does the aircraft open in Cockpit view or some other view?

i have tried your suggestions, but still have the same problem. Also my ai aircraft dont seem to fly either or make convo with atc.
