I don't know how far this will go but just thought i'd do a little tour using any FSX aircraft i have so they may be varied. First leg is from Port Lincoln to Melbourne in the Aerosoft Twin Otter of the Australian Bureau of mineral resources.
Thanks for looking! |

Next leg is from Melbourne to Canberra in the First Class Simulations Lancaster.
And that's where my screenshot utility decided to quit, so hopefully it'll be ok for the next leg, thanks for looking! |

Thank you Bel. i've missed this too, it's been a long time so that's why i thought i'd do a little tour ! It's about time we started getting things going again . I cannot get over enough how good ORBX is, the shots here are too small to see it in all it's glory and the view out of the flight deck is awesome and as always low and slow is best with this type of scenery, although i suspect that won't always be the case on this little tour ! |

Very very nice, Orbx is brilliant, keep the tour going, your screenies are very enjoyable to see! Please direct your complaints to the moon, they might care there. |

I don't think I've ever seen screenies depicting a Lancaster... remember, you saw it here first!
This then Ladies, is the same aircraft that rudely interrupted Will and Kate's smooch-fest on the balcony

Happy flying.. |

The next short leg is from Canberra to Sydney in the A2A Spitfire. A bit of getting used to this was required and i had to keep opening the canopy to stop the cockpit misting up and i could'nt find a de-mister .
Checking it out
Start and taxi
Takeoff and climb for Sydney
Cruising along
Beginning to descend
Runway in sight and gear down
A little bit high......
....so back off on the throttle and looking good....
.......untill touchdown too hard and the left gear collapsed, the preservation society are not happy with me at all
See you soon and thanks for viewing ! |

Now now... in Welshflyer's defence - he was checking the density / hardiness of the tarmac... not his fault that the gear wasn't up to this rigorous test |

After the little...errrrrr......mishap...... with the Spit, it was with great reluctance that i was let loose for the next flight but let loose i was . So we try to land safely this time after our flight from Sydney to Coffs Harbour in the Hurricane .
Looks how it should, the spit looked a bit iffy the last time i looked..
..start her up and taxi out
line her up and climb away
There's some stunning coastline along this East Coast
The compulsory cruise shot
Begin the descent....
...and overfly the airport before turning to land
Just over the harbour before the turn
On approach
Looking good (but i've said that before)...
...but this time a nice three pointer
Taxi to stop
Thank you for viewing, sorry, no crash this time. |

After that successful flight we head up to Brisbane in a Seneca.
Thanks for looking gents.Just a little bit of info, some of the sceneries i'm using here are free over at the ORBX site and work perfectly well with the default scenery. |

Last one for now gents, this time we hop on a CLS 747-300 up to Cairns
Loading everything on board
All closed up we taxi to the runway and get clearance to roll
So we begin the descent into Cairns......
.......and fly up a nice wide valley for the approach
All dirtied up over the city
Arrival and taxi at Cairns
Thanks for looking gents |

Flying into and out of Cairns is absolutely amazing, I managed to snatch a jump seat ride on a Skytrans Dash-8 from Cairns to Townsville and back, its just an awesome experience.
Please keep up the shots WF, don't stop now, more! Please direct your complaints to the moon, they might care there. |

You've just about sold me on the ORBX now, some stunning pics there... what can I say, I'm speechless and you won't experience this very often |

Thanks very much both it's very kind of you. My shots really don't do this scenery justice as i'm either too close to the aircraft or too far away from it , i can't get the views just right.Ooohhh and my PC did'nt like running Brisbane the Carenado Seneca and ASE at the same time but it's not very high spec. |

Thanks gents , while this carrier debacle goes on we got dropped off in Darwin and head inland for nothing more than to see the great ORBX textures . So we leave Darwin for Ayers Rock in a nice light aircraft .
Starting her up
Taxi to the runway .................
..................and...away we go
climbing out over the suburbs
and heading for the outback
you can see the gradual change from lush green to arid
Just have a little look at this rock before we land
Thank you for looking gents. Sorry for the delay life's a bit errrrrr .........complicated at the moment.
