I dont know if its just me, but on the ground (taxiing) the aircraft is fine.
But as soon as i take off, it struggles to climb and when autopilot is on, constant full throttle because of the climb problem.

Ive tried the rate of climb, tried everything.

no luck.

If anyone knows whats happening, please let me know.

Thanks for reading,
Tom

Make sure your using flaps on departures, retract them at about 2,000 feet or so. Keep your speed under 250KIAS under 10,000feet, and above that, about 300 is good up to about FL300, then switch to Mach numbers on the autothrottle, adjust your pitch to maintain your desired airspeed.

This might not be technically precise but it is simple and it works.

Not too sure, my one climbs just fine. Try reducing the weights?

...that's odd. Perhaps you are using an unorthodox method of installing (adding) your textures.

i tried reducing the weights ect, it helped a little after some test flights,
but now the A380 only lands well at a speed of 140.

and i know people struggle to taxi with this thing, but my lufthansa model taxi's fine, my air france model doesnt.

so, im not sure, ill keep looking and trying.
im more of a Boeing lover anyway.

(before you start, i must of not click post for this reply when first asked)

I really can't figure out why a different texture would affect the performance of the aircraft as they are (well, should be) in the same folder with the same .air and .cfg.

I think the best solution is for you to screenshot your different A380 folders on your FS9 root folder on your computer.

Try give that a go.

it could just be me to be honest, my luftansa A380 works, just
sucky when it comes to taxiing.

the climb isnt to bad anymore, could it of been my old system?

on my old system there were problems with climbing, and difficult to accelerate.

i have to land at 140 though, otherwise the nose is to low.

Really strange.

To be honest, I think it IS you! Laughing

I just can't think of any possible reason why it would be different.

Your old system MIGHT have been an issue possibly due to FPS issues or something like that, but I doubt it.

140 doesn't seem too bad a landing speed, make sure your weights are fairly low too when you're landing, appropriate to the flight, you're going to come in fast when you have 90% fuel loaded! Laughing
