Hi there can somebody give me so tips as to getting the right balance out of Microsoft Flight Sim X as in the settings for the scenery etc etc. Thanks David

With only 2gigs of ram you'd be better off at default settings, turn down autogen and AI if you have problems and lock your FPS at 20.

2gigs is enough for Vista (A memory hog like W7) leaving little for the Sim.
You also have a 32 bit system which can only handle 4gig.

64bit can handle more.
I have the feeling you have a notebook not a desktop.
