Gosh, I've been away from FSX for 4 years now! Forgot stuff.

I just installed FSX on my Windows 7 (64bit) system. I also installed the SP 1 and 2. I can't remember what else I needed to install aside from the addons of aircraft. What else do I need to be sure to install?

Are there better sources of these items now:

1. I would like to add actual airline companies to the other aircraft
2. add better engine audio
3. Flight attendant audio

Been away for far too long.

For 1.
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utrafficfsx
OR
http://www.world-of-ai.com/

The first one is payware and installs all of the different airlines at once, so it's pretty much for the lazy people I suppose, the second link is freeware, but has better quality packages, however, you must install one at a time.

For 2.
http://www.turbinesoundstudios.com/

You do NOT need to look elsewhere, they have by far the best sound packages for FSX, without doubt. I absolutely LOVE them!

For 3.
I'm not too sure about a particular addon other than FS Passengers, however each particular aircraft may have something like that added to it, for example, the LevelD 767 has F/A sounds.

Hope that helps!
Please direct your complaints to the moon, they might care there.

Thanks a bunch for this! I'm still familiar with all of them except for the soundset site. I'll have a look.

One last thing, before I even get to all of the addons, I seem to remember all of the basic updates (i.e. the 2 service packs, SDK, FSUIPC and so on...)

In what order am I supposed to install these updates?

In Regards to Service Packs, I believe it's just chronological (SP1, then SP2), or if you have Acceleration, it's already done.

I don't know about the other stuff though! Sorry! I'm still a FS9 bloke. Laughing
