I just purchased and installed the box version of FSMaps. After i installed i seen the systems requirment.

Here is the
System requirements:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X (SP2) / 2004 / 2002
MS Windows Vista / XP SP2
2 GHZ cpu multicore
1 GB internal Memory
256 MB Graphics card (DX9 compatible)
Unregistered FSUIPC needed for the FS2002/FS2004 version
Registered FSUIPC + WideFS version needed for FS2002/FS2004 when the software runs on a seperate computer (PAYWARE)
Download-Size: 226 MB
Installations-Size: 250 MB

I do have FSX, running on windows7 64 bit. Its says
Unregistered FSUIPC needed for the FS2002/FS2004 version
Registered FSUIPC + WideFS version needed for FS2002/FS2004 when the software runs on a seperate computer (PAYWARE)

But what do i need to have it run on FSX Embarassed ? Registered or unregistered FSUIPC.

And what about WideFS Embarassed ? Does this come in registered or unregistered form also.

Thanks,
Cliff

The instructions are a bit confusing if taken out of context. If I were you, I'd start off the simplest way i.e. no Widescreen and on your local machine, not a second one on your network.
Under Installation of the included PDF documentation it states:

To establish
communication with Flight Simulator X over a local network, FSMap
uses „SimConnect“, which is included with MS Flight Simulator.
Connection with FS2004 is done using „FSUIPC“ and „WideFS“ by
Pete Dowson. Both programs need to be bought separately, and are
not part of FSMap.

...and a bit further down again:

The installation of “SimConnect“ is only needed if you install FSMap
on a separate computer in your local network, and when you want
to connect to FSX. For connections to FS2004, you will need to install
FSUIPC.

Thanks Tailhook.

I will need to read the instruction slowly again, to try to understand them.
