Installing Repaints

I have down loaded repaints for different FSX airplanes and have followed the read me files and then check in my list of planes and the repaint is not there. What am I doing wrong please.

First at the window where the aircraft appear make certain the the box is checked that says "show all variations".
If it is and the repaints still don't show then follow the second step in this link.

And if the box to show all variations is checked is there anything else I can do?

Follow the steps in that link I posted "how to install new textures"...it works.

Leave the box checked in case it's needed for the new one.
