Server joining problem... all help is appreciated

Dear Fly Away Community,

I am in desperate need of help. I have recently purchased FSX and have practiced in free flight a lot, today I decided I wanted to give Multiplayer a go. I created a GameSpy Account and logged in successfully, I chose a server with the lowest ping and clicked "Next". I message appeared saying "Trying to connect...", for the next 90 seconds and then timed-out. I have tried multiple servers, but nothing. Figuring this was a Firewall Issue, I added the Ports and fsx.exe to the exceptions list, same thing. I would really appreciate ANY help right now as free flight is getting... a bit boring.

Service Pack: 1 (I refuse to use SP2 due to errors in textures)
