virtual cockpit?
How do you get the Virtual Cockpit to show the instruments, and so you can view around the inside of the cockpit with the hat button? 😞

With FSX open and the aircraft either ready to take off or flying select 'View' on the menu bar, then select 'Cockpit view' or 'New View - Cockpit view'. Also you can open another small window from the view menu and drag the small window to the side or out of the view of the cockpit panel.
The Menu Bar option is grayed out, yet it is checked, indicating it is "stuck" in the hidden mode.

Do you have SP1 and SP2 installed for FSX? If you have Acceleration package that should install SP2. Other wise maybe a repair of the FSX install is needed? Reinsert Disk 1 and select repair.
