I downloaded this a year or two ago and it caused nothing but problems with my system after a few months. I am no computer geek , but I reccommend yall stay away from this download. Its a good plan and I like the idea of what they are doing, but it is a problematic download.

TheViking,

I have had Seti@Home on my computer for years and not even a hint of a problem. I know this it is a processor hog but it doesn't waste any processing time. When you are not using your computer is when it kicks into high gear and uses all most of of your computing cycles. When you are using your computer it realeases those cycles back to you. I do not remeber the minimum requirements but you do need to exceed them by a large margine, with memory and hard drive disk space.

Ed
