I'm completely lost

I have down loaded 6 airplane from this site, and have gotten them all to show up in the game just fine, except, only one (the super Decathalon), has gages. Hard to fly like that. What am I doing wrong? I have read the articles about importing file into the gage folder, but a lot of these downloads don't come with additional gages.
