I just thought I'd post this now so we are all ready to go when the lessons start. You will need the following:

Adobe Photoshop (If you don't have it, notify me of any other painting programs you have. NOTE: I have no experience with Paint Shop Pro)

The free demo version of Abacus' FS Repaint. With the free version, you can view your work without having to go back and forth from Adobe to FS.

Finally, DXTbmp from MWGraphics. This is used to save the files in FS compatable extended bitmap

Once all the interested parties have the nessary programs, we can begin lessons!

You need the Project Opensky 757-200 - the easiest plane to paint. The paintkit is available by clicking the link

I'll take a vote - we will repaint one of the following 3 liveries in the class. I thought I'd let you pick so it doesn't get boring. I've picked the easiest to get started on. When everyone is finished, I will upload them to avsim in the "Fly Away Painting Class Pack". Cast your votes! Majority Wins!

Abacus-installed (strange searching).

DXTbmp-NOT installed (to where).

POSKY Repaint kit downloaded, do what with it for now, still zipped.

I choose #1, more detail.
