will this laptop be able to drive MSFS 2004/2 at all?

i dont expect stellar performance
(ie id be happy to set detail sliders down but id like decent framerates so the i dont do little 'time warps' everytime the stupid thing stutters ....)

any advice on what sort of frame rates i could reasonable expect from this setup would be greatly apreciated!!

(ive picked this because ive been offered this for an absolute bargain)

thank you!!

From what I understand, I don't think it'd run FS9 very well at all. Your CPU is fairly low at 1.6 Ghz and I don't think your graphics card will successfully run FS9. Someone else may be able to advice you a bit better than that Rolling Eyes

Very Happy

Your CPU does seem a bit on the slow side (but that's notebooks for you Very Happy ). I personal don't see the problem, FS9 should be able to work fine. You will have to keep the sliders on the very minium. You will also use up alot that 40Gig HD.

Hope this helps

i dont care what the surrounds/landscape detail look like, so long as the framerate keeps up

BTW, I ran FS9 on a PIII at 1.2 and a nonexistant graphics card- and 640?480 resoloution Laughing

I had a 1 Ghz AMD as my main FS machine until now- ran great with an nvidia 4.
