Very Happy Hello all

I've seen this mesh about on a couple of sites and claims to cover all of Europe and most of the USA called FS Terrain and looks good

Just wondering has anyone got it/tried it yet, if so is it any good?

Hello Tom,
I'm new on flightsimming ,but I bougt FS Terrain
and I'm very satisfied .
I'm flying particularly in The Netherlands, because I live there, and there is no real improvement (but you know The neteherlands is a real low country)
But when I go flying and start for example at the airfield of Innsbruck
then the improvement is amazing.
But as I said in the beginning I'm an amateur in Flightsimming,
but I like this programme very much. Very Happy

Very Happy Hi koelpiet
I eventually went for a mesh called European Enhanced Terrain because at the time it was the only one I could get (and it was cheaper)
Its amazing what a bit of mesh can do for the sim
I agree with you on the Netherlands, but then you have not got too far to go for the Alps(some great flying there)
Keep on flying and you will soon loose that amateur title

If your interested there are some Netherland related scenery fs9 here Arrow

http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php

There is a lot more for fs2002 and some of them work in fs9 (link at top of page)

Good luck and see you up there

Question i have been building scenes on Real Scene terrain. it represents my local area very well and in my area-51 some things, like the old water tank farm don't make sense without it( the water was up on the side of the foothills of the papoose mountains). how does the fs terrain compare. there is about 3gig of data in RS....doc

Hi Maddoc,
FS Terrain works well with my scenery's and add ons.
But I must admit that I'm a novice in flying
and that I mainly fly in the Europe region.
