I know your area. Was stationed in Oceanside while in the Marine Corps. Long Beach is nice but I am sure that the great frontier of Alaska is also great!!! |

The weather is lousy to put it mildly, but the people are friendly and unpretentious. You could do much worse than Manchester - stay put!!!
I used to live on Great Cheatham St. Salford 7. Used to drink at the "Stone the Crow" I vaguely remember it might have been called.
But then in those days you never knew whether the crow was stoned or you were drunk...
