I know your area. Was stationed in Oceanside while in the Marine Corps. Long Beach is nice but I am sure that the great frontier of Alaska is also great!!!

The weather is lousy to put it mildly, but the people are friendly and unpretentious. You could do much worse than Manchester - stay put!!!

I used to live on Great Cheatham St. Salford 7. Used to drink at the "Stone the Crow" I vaguely remember it might have been called.

But then in those days you never knew whether the crow was stoned or you were drunk...
