I used to live on Great Cheatham St. Salford 7. Used to drink at the "Stone the Crow" I vaguely remember it might have been called.

Small World, my father was born just off Great Cheetham St but he doesn't remember the pub name

Please relax my friend Sylvan.

I think that Tailhook didnt want to be sarcastic to you or to your father.
He was just kidding...Im not an expert in English language but i think that Tailhook misunderstand or want to have some innocent fun with what you have write.

Anyway take it as fun which im sure it is and not such as a sarcastic point about your dear Father.I have to admit, too, that i give the same meaning to your phrase...''Small World, my father was born just off Great Cheetham St but he doesn't remember the pub name''..but with a quick second thought i see that i was wrong... Wink

Of course i dont want to be the lawyer off Tailhook but since i appriciate you both i would like to place my opinion.

Peace my friend... Very Happy
