Multiplayer connection inconsistencies

I am running a Speedstream 5660 DSL modem. All the necessary ports for FS2004 online MP are open.

Quite often I am unable to connect. Sometimes I am able to, but not on a regular basis. I wish there was a reason for the inconsistency, but so far I am not able to find it.

Additionally, I am almost always NOT able to use the MP function in FS Navigator.

Are you running any kind of firewall?
