The scenario : The long arm of the law has finally caught up with you. You'll
be in solitary confinement for the next 5 years. To add to the
agony, you are being forced to watch 12 hours of TV every
day. - After several months the chief warden makes you an
offer: You are given the choice to have one of the 3 TV shows
that you have been forced to watch every day taken off the
menu. |

I'd definately go with the simpsons - I mean, a guy's in prison all day long, he doens't need to listen to all the tragedies going on in the world..Might as well watch dem simpsons Have you ever had that feeling, where everything just seems right, and you have no cares in the world..As if heaven smiled down upon you, and told you everything was going to be ok?
Yea, neither have I |

If you WANT to watch the Simpsons, then you should not vote for the Simpsons to be taken off the menu |

60 minutes, I've been watching it for more years than I want to admit.
I've never seen Oprah's show (brilliant businesswoman), I don't really go for "Hollywood interviews" and the Simpson's can get tiring.
I could watch reruns of Law and Order (original) easily for that length of time.

It a "magazine" type show that's been on the air and popular since 1969, they interview world leaders and common people, been to Chernobyl twice.
Stories about what's happening now and they very often deal with very controversial subjects.
They've had a number of "whistle blowers" on that dealt with high profile cases, the tobacco industry for one.
This weekend they had an interview with Prince Philip, very interesting, no personal family questions allowed by him.

I don't know that much about him, he's now making an "official" visit to our country.

Thanks in advance...
I would love to give you my honest opinion about "Oprah" but for the sake of this poll I have decided to remain absolutely neutral.
By the time this poll has run out of steam I will give you an exact synopsis of the three TV programs. You will not have to wait long, Greekman, as it is already evident that the majority of us would rather be tortured by 3 TV shows on a daily basis instead of only 2. I find that frightening, but then I'm a bit oldfashioned.
As they say: The truth will be revealed in the end!
Don't be impatient now, Greekman

"A man has got to keep his promises", my grandma used to say. It had almost slipped my mind but here it is:
Oprah is named after the woman who runs (maybe even owns) the show. She oozes greed and vanity - and bored, middleaged women are driven to histrionic behaviour when Oprah appears on stage.
Why?? I will never know |

I voted for 60 Minutes. At least I'd know what was going on in the world. A steady diet of the Simpsons would turn my brain to mush and Oprah bores me to death. CrashGordon
