Hi, I have two very quick questions:
1) What does the file fsuipc.dll do and why do people care so much for downloading a "good version" of this? Just curious.
2) What software do you need to avail of the virtual cockpit feature that comes with certain payware add-ons? Also, how do you this software to look around the plane?
Many thanks in advance for any help on this. JTH 🙂
Here is the forum for FSUIPC. It's best if you read some of the posts to learn about it.

Active Camera is what your looking for to "walk" around inside and outside the aircraft. Download the "demo".

Here is a free version, not as versatile but free. It keeps you inside the aircraft. (F1 View)

Simply stated, fsuipc.dll is a shared library that allows 3rd party addons to interface with FS9. Its range of features is from weather generation to joystick settings and everything in between.
Some earlier versions were not as compatible with FS9.1 as they might be, hence the need for the proper (newer) version.
So if I get the new version will it work best with all the addons I already have? What's the name of the newest version by the way?
Thanks a lot!

Errr... I had a look on that page and haven't really found where the new version is and/or how I would know if it's right for me. Sorry

Go to the link that tailhook posted. Scroll down to fsuipc 3.50. To check which version you have go into your FS9 folder and into the Modules folder.
You will find the fsuipc in there, to check what version it is hover the mouse over it and it should day something like this.
3.5.0.0
If not download and overwrite your old one. If you require the new version click on this link ➡
