squawkbox problem

i recently (today) started having problems with squawkbox. i just installed a router and i think that may have something to do with it.

squawkbox will not start up, it fails to initiate a session, so i ran the dxdiag tool and this is what it said

DirectPlay test results: Failure at step 9 (Creating Session): HRESULT = 0x80158185 (error code)

any clues of how i can solve this problem?

I think the problem might be related to the port SB3 uses and whether the router is set to permit it.
