no instrument in cockpit view

In Flight Simulator 2004
Cockpit view the sceen is in half you can see the runaway and
the other half is black no instrument can be seen the curors tells me they
are there can any once help Embarassed Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

It usually happens when an aircraft that is not made for 2004 but for an earlier edition is used or you didn't follow the read-me and load the gauges into the gauge file.
