Where to fly?

Go to Nepal. There are 'short' flights aplenty. Choose the northern part of the country

Try British Columbia and other places in the Pacific Northwest. There are plenty of small flights that you could do in this bush flying environment. Heading out of Innsbruck and other adjacent airports are good for small scenic flights as well.

Ive never mastered the 747 but I do have a go every so often.You could catch me anywhere around Greece in a 737 or a A320

The thing I like about flying in and around the Greek islands is that not may airports have ILS.so its a hands on approach 😉

the shortest flight i've ever done...about 2 minutes. go to alpnach in switzerland. there are 2 airports in 5 minutes - great for practicing your landing skills in smaller planes. also, if you have the alps mesh i completely love (i made a post in the scenery forum if you want it) it looks good too. with the alps mesh i also reccommend these:

st expury - geneva : 20-40mins

zell am see - salzburg : 10-25mins

courcheval - aix les bains : 15-30mins

it depends what plane you're in. for courcheval you're going to need add-on scenery (there's a few to choose from) as the default runway has trees at one end and a cliff the other - also it doesn;t have it's famous slope.

i also have slovenia mesh and vfr scenery, since that links up with the alps there's potential there. ljubjana to munich is about 40mins in a 737.

I have already installed the Attica Photoreal and its great.The higher the better of course.The only problem is that it takes a litle more time than the usual one to load this scenery. 😉

Dude...you have got the whole world at your finger-tips! If it's short flights your after, get the 75m mesh terrain for New Zealand at www.geographx.co.nz and take some flights around the "Southern Alps" mountain range. IMO, its much better than Nepal 😉

I've mentioned it before: VQPR to VNPK in a default 737 --- and then the other way around. That should shake the boredom out of your pants.

I've flown it several times. My great, great, great,...Uncle Vlad made a map, which I inheriited. 😂 😂 😂 😂 So, I don't have to worry...or is it because I'm a "blood" relative? 😂 😂 😂 😂

And then I overshot the runway on landing 😂

Go to AVSIM and enter "Quebec Short Hops" into the SEARCH screen under FS2004 SCENERY.

Download as many (or all!) of the downloads (30+) and install them into FS.

Now fly these fabulous FREE scenery areas in a nice slow plane (I recommend the Carenado Piper Cherokee 180 but it's payware).

Many of the sceneries you get a water ports only so you may want to fly an Amphibian.
