Why not fly one? If nothing else, the textures are absolutely stunning!

Complete with model and excellent FDE - ready to fly - no need for extra downloads. 😉

Woah, look what they're going to use to transport the pieces of the 787...

That's bound to be a Boeing creation -- which of course looks gorgeous -- unlike the ugly Beluga. Ninja

PS: Pertaining to Solotwo's post above^^^^

I was wondering, what is the prupose of the visor, if they have the PFD? Don't they display the same information? 😉

The HUD? It's to make the transition for ex-Navy and Airforce pilots easier...
unless of course this new wonder creation will have combat capability.

The Heads Up Display (HUD) allows the pilot to see critical flight data without looking down at the instrument panel. This is of greatest benefit during instrument approaches in very low visibility. On most commercial planes with a HUD, it's normally only on the Captains side. It's unique that the 787 will have two. 🙂

Heres a nicer Boeing 7E7-800 you might like to try:

It is listed as an Air New Zealand repaint but contains the model also.

Thats no Beluga, its a modified 747!!! I have never ever seen one of those before, and wow, its huge!

I only found out about the Beluga yesterday (See here: https://forum.flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/12666/you-want-to-see-something-really-strange/ ) which is a modified Airbus A300 but I realised the aircraft above has 4 engines instead of 2, and then I wondered why would Airbus be carrying Boeing's parts around? LOL

Sorry for taking this Off Topic!

the outside of the 7e7 looks funny... like the a380 but worse 😞

An attempt to dispell some of the confusion:

The B7e7

The B7E7

The B787

The Dreamliner

...are the same aircraft and are not to be confused with any kind of specially designed transporters be they of Airbus or Boeing origin.

The words like and unlike on the other hand have different meanings... hence the different spelling.

it's sad to see the concept cockpit glass didn;t make it into the final product - i think the nose is ugly too. the wings and tail are awesome though.

Sorry for my misintepritation, it can be read both ways.

I love the 7E7's nose, I don't know why everyone else dosent ❓

And Hinch, where did you get those screenshots from? Is it a flight sim product?

new bombardier c series

sexy isn;t it?

The purpose of the HUD is for low visibility take off and landings. With the HUD, the minimums for takeoff and landing are reduced therefore allowing the plane to fly when others without HUD's wouldnt.

So what's the capacity of the 787? And range?

I'm assuming it's replacing the 767 in the medium-range market.
