Hey Peeps,

Just got back from my lesson, wow, it was totally fab. A really strange experience listening to the ATC and watching all the dials too - then actually talking over the controls was ace.

Did get into a slight dive at one point, but nothing I couldn't handle :p

Fair play, its totally different to the game though :p

Thanks for all of the support guys - I must admit that I was a bit shocked that the pilot was letting a student do a solo flight after 12 hours :/

Is that normal?

That would pretty much be the minimum, I guess he was pretty damn good! But still, 12 hours, thats a bit of a worry... Confused

BTW, what sort of plane did you go up in?

That's pretty normal, well almost, but it's perfectly safe, the person probly had a lesson every week, or had FS at home, or was just a quick learner.
One of my instructors said he soloed one guy with 4 hrs, but that was in the good old days. Laughing Now that could be a little quick.
