Hey all,

I was hopeing that someone could help with a questions I have. I am a boeing man but have decided it was time to try a high quality addon of an A320 for flight sim... I have been looking around on the net and I cant really find anyone who has made an 320 addon to the quality that say PMDG has made their 737's and 747's. Does anyone know of a real quality add on for an A320 with FMC and VC.

Any help would be much appreciated,
Cheers,
Josh

This is the most detailed A320 payware addon for now. It doesn't have the quality of PMDG, but it's very good. It has VC and an MCDU.

those guys are selling liveries for $5 each!? That's not fair I think. I mean, ok you've been workin on it, and costs you a lor of effort, but you've already bought the aircraft. And what shoudl I fly the gray 3-D model?

I think the A320 Pro Package comes with some liveries.

You can check the User Edits for free liveries.

Welcome to the forums slopshua,

now I realize that you want to spend money and why shouldn't you? From what you're saying though I gather that you haven't flown any Airbus yet - being a Boeing man and all.

Until you find the payware A320 you're happy with, I'd strongly recommend the iFDG freeware ones. Just because the file sizes are small doesn't mean that the aircraft are inferior - on the contrary.
Get yourself a good panel (plenty available) and you have a quality A320, fly it by the book and you'll be wondering why you shouldn't spend your money on something else instead. Oh, get yourself a soundset you like (plenty available).

If you want to try out a 330 or 340 go to Posky

iFDG and Posky - both make excellent freeware aircraft. The FDEs are nothing like the MS default a/c. You'll have to adjust your fuel / weight before take off or you'll be struggling all the way.
