Paul Allen, the Tycoon associated with Microsoft, has seen the fruits of someone's labour and his $s when a rebuilt Hawker Hurricane took to the skys today at RAF Wattisham (UK) in the first of a series of trial flights. The Hurri - BW881 - originally built in 1942 - has been rebuilt at a reported cost of £1.5 million and will be one of only eleven still flying. Whilst its great that Mr Allen has kept this great plane alive; sadly, he's taking it back to the USA to join the rest of his WWll aircraft.
