I haven't used either one but it looks like it is just a matter of preference. One has force feedback and one don't. Some here like force feed back and some don't, so go with what you think you would like best.

From what I read on the Saitek site you can turn the force feedback off if you don't want to use it.

Nothing if you want force feedback. I don't like the feature; it's just another thing that can break or cause the joy stick to malfunction. The feature can be good for games but not so good for flight simulation programs. 🙂
