I am kind of confused about how the flyaway flight simulator site works. Can I download an add on for flight simulator 2002 for the c130,from this site.If not at flyaway then wher? If no free downloads of the C130 are available, where can I purchase this simulator?I would love to be able to fly this aircraft on my computer, since I used to be an aircraft loadmaster on the c130E.Thanks,any help would be greatly appreciated.. ❓
This designer makes the best aircraft that I've seen. If you try a 2002 aircraft in 2004 sometimes they either don't show at all or have some minor thing wrong with them, such as no landing gear.
But at time's they will work very well.
Thank you radar man.I still don't know how to go from downloading it to my desktop,to actually flying the simulator. What am I missing here.Like I said earlier I have the flight sim 2002 with a joystick.Sorry to be a pest, but what is the next steps to actually flying the sim?
First you have 2002, I thought you had 2004. I'll have to find another for you.
These are the directions for installation.
You need Winzip to unzip the folders.
You can get the trial one at WinZip , it's the best you can use and the trial will last for years.
I think I know what you are asking but I try answering two ways.
One, If you cannot find your downloads to "unzip" them, send them to "My Computer", "My Briefcase" or even to "Desktop".
You can enter them from any of those areas.
I download to a folder that I have in "My Briefcase" it's just handy for me that way.
I do it a more complicated way,but it works.
Make certain you have a plane not just textures.
Unzip the file and now it's in it's own little window, you work from there. Dump the jpgs.
dblc on "my computer"
dblc on the "C" drive icon.
dblc on "program files"
dblc on "Microsoft Games".
dblc on "Flight Simulator.
Now you have all the folders laid out in front of you.
Follow the directions in the read-me that came with the aircraft.
Put the gauges in the gauge folder.
Put the effects in the effects folder.
Put the aircraft in the aircraft folder, make certain it has the correct name of the plane.
Now go crash land like I do.
5th down is a 2002 craft.
You could use any on this page.
Thanks radar man.I went by all the steps you gave me.When I went to the flight simulator 2002,no c130.Guess it wasen't ment to be.I really appreciated your help.Do you know if they are going to have a version of the c130 in stores, buy the software and download it that way?
It should have shown up, do your other downloads show?
I know this one is a lot to read but you might find something here.
For sale sites.
This the first one I have attempted. It extracted the files to folders under FS2002 (like the readme file said(, but when I launch FS 2002, I don't see a c-130 in the drop down list. I will try another plane to see what it does.
