hello there 😀
this is just a poll to see how much additional $$$$ you spent on fs2004 (eg addons, joysticks, yokes etc.)
i was wondering if theres any people who spend thousdands
I don't usually spend much becasue i'm too young to buy stuff off the net and all my local game shops specialise in PS2, Xbox etc and don't really sell add-ons except the odd one or two, in which case i'll usually buy them. So I usually spend about £25 twice a year on payware. For the rest I depend on freeware, which isn't too bad if you know where to look 😉
😀 😀 😀
I suppose that my figure of add-ons, upgrades etc, is small compared to some, around £500. Thats mostly payware aircraft/ scenery and a recent graphics card upgrade. 😉
Posted twice somehow.
All in all,I guess hmm,wait:
20$-Joystick1
20$-Joystick2
20$-Joystick3
129$-Hotas1(saitek X-52 flight control system)
90$-add-ons
So,I guess a total of 280$.ouch.I never looked at it this way...
about £10 on cheap add ons. then other addons i've bought on cd and sold on. my flightsim was bought by a friend and my parents got me thew joystick for my bday.
hmmmmmmm interesting... so its around 200 pounds.
im on about $30 nz
80$ for a joystick
20$ for the game
I actually got my original fs2004 copy for free- I traded it with a mate for GTA Vice City! Lol.
Since then I have bought two joysticks ($90 NZ)
VFR Photoreal England and Wales, volumes 1 and 2 ($120 NZ)
Ulimate Traffic ($50 NZ)
Just Flight's Flying Club ($90 NZ)
Godzone NZ Photoreal ($30 NZ)
REAL NZ Auckland City ($33 NZ)
Carenado's 206 Stationair Full Pack ($60 NZ)
France Sim Photoreal Corsica ($66 NZ)
Hmm, that comes to .... $539 ❗ Crap that's a lot!
My next purchase is going to be Carenados Beechcraft Bonanza V-TAIL 😀
About:-
£180 for Throttle Quadrant
£120 for CH Yoke
£90 worth of add-ons
My old joystick £30
£420!!!
THATS LOADS
and thats about it I think!
Probably nearing $400, though it seems the more I buy the more unreliable my FS becomes.
