I downloaded an addon of a Piper Arrow or cherokee many months ago and have never been able to install to FS. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Does the FS addon manager program help or do it for me or ??

i don't have the addon manager, but these are the steps to how i manually install.
1 create a folder called fs downloads in your documents folder
2 put the aircraft file in this folder, minimize that
3 right click on the start icon and select explore
4 click local disk
5 find microsoft games
6 open that and open fs 2004
7 go back to downloads folder
8 drag file into fs 2004 aircraft folder
hopes this helps and happy flying. welcome to the fourms

Answering your question, yes you do. Just right-click on the .zip folder and select 'Extract All' from the drop-down menu and follow the prompts. Easier than learning how to walk! 😀
