Just had a message come up on my computer...apparentely i'm low on virtual memory
What does this mean and what do I do becasue at the moment windows takes ages to recover after I close FS
Thanks 😉
I think virtual memory is the memory used for "basic" tasks. I think its caused by a lack of RAM. Maybe try and close some of the processes by pressing Control + Alt and Delete and deleting some unwanted processes. I could be wrong in the above though
Have a look at these ➡

How do I know what processe are 'unwanted'. I've just looked and there are about 60 applications on the list. Is this normal??

Hit CTRL + ALT + DEL and then google every process you see there.
In most of cases there are problems on virtual memory cause of the programs which are running on background so you need a utility like FSAutostart in order to disable them ➡

There are aslo some programs like Advanced Unistaller that helps you to manage your start up list. ➡

I had that problem all the time, but thanks to Radar man I figured out my computer still thought I had only 512mb of Virtual memory, but I upgraded to 2gb's of ram so I changed what it thinks so now I don't have that problem anymore. 🙂
