I've seen this one before and have viewed it over a dozen times. The best I can figure is that the pilot realized he had run out of lake and tried to maneuver for more space before hitting the beech. I'd bet he figured if he hit it straight on, it would flip over.

I thought last time this was posted on here it was a botched landing, it appeared that the out riggers weren't secured upon landing and then that ensued.
