Today's flight was originally going to be flown by a GSA CRJ. But, I had to return to the airport after having engine trouble. So, Since the captain on the FVA 738 became ill, I decided to lend a hand. Thankfully it was a good flight, and there were enough seats for the people from the GSA flight.

Cool shots PA - looks like a nice landing
I fell through a hole at Boise airport the last time I was there...haven't been back since!
To show how few airports are in the area, I was flying San Fran to Boise, and about 80 miles out, the right fuel tank started pouring fuel, I declared an emergency and asked for an alternate airport big enough to handle a 737. I switched to the right tank while ATC was looking for an airport, used all of the fuel, and switched over to the left tank.
ATC informed me that the nearest airport WAS Boise, I think Reno was 90-something miles behind me, so I flew in, made a nice crab-landing, and taxiied off to the right, then the plane fell about 8 feet into the taxi-way, got shot up into the air, and crashed...137 people dead...
I don't fly to Boise anymore.
Nice scenary and great shots
interesting story there PA!
nice shots to go with it also.
...now what bonehead mechanic let that engine trouble take place?
lol, i'll have to reprimand him
