hi im new to this how do i play one of the flight simulators

As a first step, read some of the ground material in the sim and see how much you understand and then take up a cessna and see how you get on 😉
just tryed downloading a simulation and the folders zipped and i can't play it
Have you bought FS2004 and installed it?
If not, click Buy on this page at the top right:

You need WinZip, WinZip , to unzip zip files. What exactly did you download? This forum is for Microsofts's Flight Simulator 2004 and it is not available as a legal download.

Youi are asking for support for a pirated copy of commercial softare. That's illegal and probably in violation of the TOS of this board but I'll let a moderator make that judgement.
