'Lo all.

What are some good books on flying in general? I've been looking at:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1560273801/102-3439875-2715310?%5Fencoding=UTF8&s=books&v=glance

or

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1560275618/qid=1153340833/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/102-3439875-2715310?v=glance&s=books

Also, what about IAP charts? Is there a giant book of them or is there a free site for them?

Thanks.

Those books are information/reference books, not very fun reading, but they do make you more knowledgeable.

Ok, just checking. You might like this then:

It is one step down from the instrument flying handbook, it is the book you would read in order to get your Private Pilots Lissence.
