I was looking for Disney World, the internet told me to use Epcot Airfield and fly west...since I was coming in from Nassau, I decided I'd just fly to Epcot Airfield, then on to Disney World...I never did see the field from the air...After landing at Orlando Intl, I changed to Epcot Field...108 feet long...I think it's wider than it is long!
No, the CRJ-900 will not take-off from it!
Use GPS

Oh, thank you, why didn't I think of that?
It solved all of my problems?
😂
I think the shortest runway in FS9 is in the Carribean somewhere - can't remember specifically where though
Tncm

TNCM is not the shortest runway. You can fly a 747 in and out of there. There are thousands of runways in FS that a much shorter.
Why would you think an International Airport would be the shortest runway in FS?
I dont know if its the shortest but while im flying over Alaska i notice this... ➡
ICAO= 9AK
Of course i dont even think to land there... 😉
Isle of Portland in Dorset, United kingdom. You wouldnt land a helicopter there! 😂
Hmmmm no need for sarcasm!! well if you can't find an airfield then me thinks it is pretty logical to click on the GPS symbol, and then it will open and you can see and zoom in on the airports your near!!!!!!!!!!! 🙄 😕
Is Disney world defult scenery???
The shortest paved runway in the world is Juancho E. Yrasquin airport on the island of Saba (1748 ft), in the Carribbean... the island is only a couple square miles in size, and the runway takes up a large portion of the space...
The runway is so short that it's closed to general aviation landings (it has "X" markings on either end to show that it is closed to landings and takeoffs without special permission)... and only one airline travels to it.. Winair.

Cool, I will have to go land there now!
You will find that airport in Flight Sim under the ICAO of SABA, not the one the the wikipedia article suggests

Yes, Disney World and Epcot Center are default scenery items, as stated, fly West from Epcot Field, or West by SouthWest from Orlando International.
400 feet.

there is a video of a Winair De Havilland Canada DHC-6 twin otter landing and taking off. just go to http://www.flightlevel350.com/ and tipe in SABA to search videos and watch the video. really cool. 🙂

Saba is actully 5 square miles and the runway takes up a small portion of that. On a clear day we could see the top of Saba from our house on St. Croix. The runway is on a small peninsula towards the left side in this photo.
I fly out of Netherthorpe Airfield (EGNF) for my PPL a lot i know in real life that it has the shortest licenced runway (rwy 18/36) in england.
In fs, i think a really short one is Portland Navy in Dorset, England. I know it has been said before but i thought i should say it again.
