Dudes and LadyDudes
Behold my best video yet, Flight Simulator 9 Special . This is my version of the farwell to FS9. I used the song I used because that was the only sad/pop song I found in my library But it sounds really nice anyway and fits in.
That is a fantastic video. You've captured all of the important features in the best possible way and have put the film together in an entirely unique way.
Congratulations on such a masterpiece!
Very very nice, I really liked it. Music was nice also. You did a fine job and thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for your nice comments
WOW , Impressive , Bravo
Just by watching that video made me feel like I was going to miss FS9
Thanks for your comment Spoty

-- That said, very nice video
Hehe thanks crosscheck
wow thats sad!... but why dose it mean the end?...
for most of us we will be keeping are love fs9.. for a long time yet!..
so its not the end for some. we all have to move on.
we thank you FS9.
Thanks for your comments Simon, I doesn't mean it all ends, it's just kind of a reminder of what FS9 brought us during the early days that we forget
Dude that's an awesome video! Framerates seem incredibly smooth as well. You must have a top-o-the-line system running FS9.
A few questions...
1. Do you use Active Camera? If not, what do you use for your views?
2. Do you use ActiveSky?
3. What other 3rd-parties did you use in those flights you used for the vid?
Thanks for your nice comments. No I don't really have that much of a high end PC, it's just the way I edit it and record that makes it look very smooth.
1. No I don't use active camera, I use the slew mode and I also use a v.good freeware tool called the flyby utility 2.0 with lets me pan around etc just like Active camera.
2. I don't use activesky either, it's default
3. I didn't really use many addons at all because it was a default special. But in some scenes I did use VOZ 1.2 to make it look a bit better.
Hope that helped
One more thing...about the smoothness of the video...
Video creation and editing is one of my hobbies. If your FS video capture wasn't that smooth, how in the world did you smooth it out like that in your editing??
I have a project I'd like to put together, but I haven't done it yet because the FPS just isn't smooth enough.
Records the clips slowly and slower movement than usual. And with your video editing program speed up the clip, which in turn makes it seem really smooth.
In order to record the clips slower, do you have to slow down the "real time" when you fly? Or else how do you do that?
Use slew mode, its much better, easier and more diverse for creating airplane movements. with the slew mode you can control the speed and direction usind the directional buttons and theres a lot more to do etc
Dude, that's an awesome sad video. For a moment I thought I was never gonna use FS9 again, but that's not true.
excellent video , what editor do you use and what bit rate do you save the video as and what resolution please .
I used Sony Vegas and I used 1mb per minute bitrate
