FS Trivia Topic

Jamie4590 Guest

This may have already been covered but how about starting a trivia thread? Simple rules would be you have to answer a question before you can post one and it has to have a flight simulation theme. These can proove to be very popular and just by scrolling through them can be educational. Anyone agree?

So what's the first question??

Jamie4590 Guest

For best results I think the thread should be started by someone else such as a mod or other senior member. As a 'currently' non-member I don't think it would do the topic justice. Any takers?

Should be made a sticky, or maybe even a new forum.

I agree - I respond to a post depending on the content, not the author 😉

The main Airbus factory is in Toulouse (where it is all put together) but many countries build Airbus. For example the engine!

I think that is right??!!

If I get to ask a question it is:

Which aircraft was used on the first cross Atlantic solo flight?

Ryan NYP "Spirit of St. Louis" in 1927.

Whoever wins the turn, if they don't want to ask a question can make it open to anyone or specify another person to ask! 👍

Embarassed Sorry I forgot about the thread - I don't have a question at the moment so feel free to ask one anybody.

Q: What is the difference between a flight attendant and a jet engine?

Pro Member Chief Captain

A jet engine stops whining soon after landing 😂

Its a shame the momentum has gone after just a handful of questions. Crying or Very sad

Anywho, I know its against the rules but I'll sneak this one in:

What duration of silence from ATC needs to elapse before a PAR approach has to be aborted??

1 min 30seconds

Jamie4590 Guest

I have 5 seconds on the card but I'll accept your answer!
