Has anyone been in a real flight simulator? I've checked them out and at around £500 a pop its a bit pricey but I bet a great day out and with real pilots and instructors. What happens to the simulators when the aircraft is retired?

The electronics and hydraulics parts are used to maintain other simulators. I would assume that anything that was not reusable would be scraped. 🙂

My step cusin works in the ANG and i get to fly in a KC-135 tanker simulator and mabe hes said if he can get me in they can take me on a test mission
