notice those 2 america west jets in the background? well from all the times of be spotting at phx i see them holding there for a while (10-45min) and im pretty shure that there waiting there for a gate to open up

The authorities let you walk around a major airport and let you take pictures like that? Wow. The Long Beach tower has sicked airport security on us because i was taking a picture of a PC-12 in a hangar near my flying club. And it's alot smaller airport than sky harbor. Thought security there would be alot stricter there.
Theres some excellent shots there atreyu - I like those panning shots especially 👍
thanks for the comments guys. mypilot, phoenix is one of the most spotter-friendly airports. you can go in the parking garage and maybe you'll see a security person drive by but they wont stop and question you. also, there is a spot by runway 26 and you can stand on gaurd rails right next to the perimeter fence and then cops just drive by slowly to see what your doing, but then they'll just drive off.
