Its indeed a very nice craft and i have to agree with my friend RadarMan about the similarity with the popular Mentor.

Thanks for let us know about it. 😉

Thanks Hinch, just bought, downloaded, installed, and flew it!

Very, very, very nice! Flies like a dream, and 3 point landings are a cinch!

Very little effect on fps, still running around the 60-65 mark.

I don't have the "Mentor", which looks like the seating is in tandem, Saab is side by side. If the "Mentor" is that good, will have to get one of those to compare.

so you would say without doubt it is worth getting £13 for it? i need to think of something to sell first to get some paypal dosh. their verifying procedure is most tedious!

The VC looks very nice in all liveries. But the exterior screen shots dont seem to measure up to Carenado's counterpart, their wonderful Mentor.

I can't answer that, as I haven't had the pleasure of trying Mentor, which I think is around the same price. Also depends on what you actually want from any sim-craft. Something that looks good, something that performs well, or both.

On looks its above average, performance well very easy to fly, but not overly powerful, yet does aerobatics quite well. My final personal feeling, on my limited time with it, is that it won't become a top favourite, but will be used at odd moments to fill in time. It has a hard task to beat my favourite Spitfires, Hurricanes, and Lancs. Plus Sally 'B'. But can see it being used for lots of practice on short landing strips.

hmmm it's hard to judge then as i fly such different aircraft. the mentor is very good i've read and been told - but lacking 'smooth' gauges and being 2yrs old does it no favours as it still retains the same price tag.

i'm just annoyed i didn't find a free copy in my mail Wink

Sorry Hinch. Just to show you, I'm having fun. The more I fly it, the more I'm getting to like it. Fantastic animation, even in pause mode the pilot is still moving, getting impatient and wants to get going again.

Unbelieveable how much has been packed in, and the panels must be the smoothest instruments around. And the hit rate on fps is well, if you can read the writing on my screen shots, never drops under 60fps, with fps setting at unlimited. I only set mine to that for these shots, I normally restrict it to 30fps, then it's as smooth as silk all the time.

Right I don't post many pics, so if these are not quite right, you'll have to excuse an old git.

haha i love it too don't worry - i think i'm annoying steveT hehe.

i just installed new drivers which improve my fps Wink
