Sorry if discussed already (I come and I go)

I highly recommend using Google Earth in conjunction with your flightsimmng. Very nice way to find interesting places to go, and scout out your destinations & en route terrain from all angles. It's good to have a visual in your head as you get vectored into unfamiliar territory. Also, it has a map-pinning tool--handy for marking where you've been. (I'm currently marking an aimless world tour in the Mooney Bravo, starting at Martha's Vineyard; north to Nova Scotia, Greenland, Iceland, UK, Europe, currently in Carthage, Tunisia)
