Frame Rates

Goose553 Guest

I keep reading about what frame rate people are getting on their flight sims. How can I get this type of information from my game? Is it something you run in the background whilst the flight sim is also running which measures the frame rate?

I also keep reading about people turning up the effects on their flight sim but this slows down the frame rate. How do I mess around with this to get the optimum from my flight sim?

Thanks,

To see all the data from FS, hit shift-z 3 times and it will appear at the top of the screen

As far as changing setting, that is what the sliders in FS' settings are for.

Remember that frame rates over 25 can not be detected by humans, so limiting frame rates to 25 to 30 frees up resources.
