May i ask you for a picture from google earth showing 2 planes using both runways at EGLL (heathrow) as ive made a bet with my science teacher, him saying that they only use 1 runnway for takeoff and landings.

I think he's right...I can't find anythinng on google earth, they all use one rnwy,but don't touch the other.Same on google maps.
Heathrow will always use one runway for landings and the parrell one for take-off's. It alters every now and then to minimise the affect on local communities.
Come on guys....65 million passengers a year using one runway??

This one might be it. Look (enlarge it) Two jets taxiing to the rwy one on the left and one on the right
...and they use the third runway for very strong crosswinds. 😉
