It has a delta wing design.....
Guess correctly and its your turn.
Could it be concorde ❓
I thought that was really hard too!
Well done, You're correct. You're turn....If you want to that is. No pressure. 👍
What boeing aircraft model number am I thinking of?
😛
f-16
how about a boeing B17 Flying Fortress????
I was just joking - it is pilotwannabe's turn 🙂
This is a nice thread... pity to see it go to waste
Question:
Which was the first aircraft to be equipped with all three of the folliwing:
*variable swing wings
*terrain-following radar
*crew escape module
❓
F-14 Tomcat?
Panavia Tornado?
Negative on both accounts. You're both only looking at the 'swing wings'. Don't forget the other two: terrain-following radar and crew escape module 🙂)
First aircraft with all of those was of course the General Dynamics F-111. 🙂 Lovely aircraft it is.
Is it my turn then?
Ok, I prefer pictures.
Guess the aircraft! Study the landing gear closely.
MD-11
😉

Roger that. Thanks for the great picture 😎
Your question... you gotta be kidding. It doesn't look like the belly of an airliner -- but center wheel..? Relatively small wheels... that's a tricky one
B-1. You can tell from the swept wings, I think.
Never seen a grey B1. And no not a MD-11, close though.
DC-10 ❓ ❓
Winnar!!!
OK so i guess its my turn...which aircraft has the SEL-CAL FM-GJ.
😀 😀
McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32
Gah....bloody google
Your turn 😉
I'm looking for an easy one. Working on it...
Ok, here we go:
Please name the aircraft!
Lockheed P-38 Lightning
That's the one, your turn! 🙂)
OK, wait a moment for me to find one...
OK, Here: What's this Plane???
X-29, #14.
Name that plane:
One plane made out of two planes.
Hint...the two planes were H-Models.
The heinkel 112. Two WWII heinkel 111's, welded together at the wings to make one big 4engined plane used for towing gliders.
Since you've answered your own question (purpose?) it's your turn again.

Are you sure? The He112 was Heinkels prototype fighter which lost to the Bf109.
Another hint, American made.
The P-82 Twin Mustang???
