Addition to Civility post

I know civility has been locked but i just wanted to add something!

When i discovered flightsimming with FS2002, i muddled my way around trying to figure out what to do with what, and what to put where. By trial and error and buying magazines such as PC Pilot that came with a disc that contained freeware files i finally managed to work out what to do, although the install instructions left a lot to be desired to say the least ( i think they presumed anyone who bought the mag knew how to use Winzip). This was before i had an internet connection and long before i discovered Flyaway, if i'd known about Flyaway when i first signed up to the internet it would have saved me a lot of hassle by reading the various forums, and asking questions.
But my point is (eventually) i don't mind at all answering questions that some people find trivial, boring and they've read it all before and are fed up with seeing the same posts, because you can become lost in the first steps of flightsimming.
My only bug is, when i've posted an answer to a question some people don't bother to reply with a simple thank you or to say the problem is solved or not.
Whenever i pose a question whether it's solved or not i personally like to thank those that have tried to help as a matter of civility.

Sorry to be a bore!

The fact that you come back and express your gratitude after one of your questions has been answered successfully is commendable.

But to expect rude schoolboys to do the same is a waste of time. You'll find that (I'm guessing) 70% of the time where you've made a real effort to help out, the kid won't even have read your instructions because you didn't use texting and it's oh so cumbersome to read all that "Stuff".
Next thing they're off to play Doom and by the time they log on again they want to know how to create scenery, design aircraft and why the hell everything is so complicated.

We just have to live with it.

im new and i appreciate your efforts at attitude. this is hard as heck to learn how to use properly. from downloads to graphics cards and drivers, to actually "flying" there is nothing easy about flight simming, but its fun as anything
