Squawkbox and vatsim

I need help with squawkbox. I cant get it to start. How do i get it to start without it saying the multiplayer problem. How can i talk to the atc people for vatsim. Im really confused.
P.S.
I ran the thing it told me to run and it didnt help.

make sure that you've entered the serial key and you have a good internet connection. Check out the VATSIM website for instructions and what not. It's pretty easy to use and I can relate back to my "early days" Razz
