I can't help you with the paint job but maybe this will help.
thanks Radarman, but there were just explanation what bit-map is,but nothing more.Simply I even don't know with wich programm I should open them, what to do next and so on.Realy here is no one who knows about paint-kits?No one tried to paint aircrafts?
Hi xpilot if you want a non-technical description of bit map images got to -
The basic MS Paint facility produces bmp images but is no use for repainting which is quite a complicated procedure and requires a top end photo editor eg PaintShop or Photoshop.
You can also download FSRepaint from Abacus for a free trial - it'll give you an idea what you need to do. I would not recommend buying the program as there is absolutely no support from Abacus for it.
There are several repaint tutorials available from simviation.com, californian classic etc - use google with "FS repain tutorial" - that should get you something that will suit.
Hope this helps
Yes you asked what a bit-map was and I gave you the links to explain it.
In a previous post you asked about paint kits and I gave you these links.
I'd like to help but could you be a little more clear as to what you want.
As you see davec gave you the same Abacus link that I did before.
I thanked you for your help,I just sad, that my paint-kit contains bit-maps and I asked what to do with them, and how to begin painting aircraft? What to do,what to use,I mean which programs?
I think davec's idea about downloading a trail of the Abacus paint kit is an excellent one.
It may have some tutorials that you can only get in a pay type package, nothing to lose.
Good luck on it, we want to see the finished job.
Aloha Xpilot, Sorry for the delay but I have been updating my web page and finally got time to cruise the sites, anyway you mention that you want to paint planes, if thats true you can go by my site and check out the lesson I have just posted on painting at my site (http://rilo-aeronautics.com) it may be what you are looking for (basic but complete with reflections) if not you may want a repaint Program like Radar and Davic have pointed out.
