Okay, I am looking for information on how to make an airplane for FS2004. Mostly some form of tutorial. Currently I have Gmax(the version provided with FS), Make Model SDK and gmax Gamepack SDK from https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/2798/microsoft-flight-simulator-2004-sdk-pack-all-kits/
I also have knowledge about repainting a/c but not making the original paint.
If anyone could help I would appreciate it!

This is all that I could find
hey great tutorials! they've been of great help.
but, I do have one more question. Where can I find scale drawings of aircraft? I have had little to no luck with yahoo and google...

Which one are you looking for.
Which one are you looking for.
pretty much any. but right now mostly a 747
actually looking for three diferent views: top, left and front.
have you tried searching the boeing site? we have drawings for the 707 at work but unfortunately it's more than my jobs worth to release them on the net. http://www.boeing.com/commercial/airports/3_view.html
this should be of some use for you though, they are in CAD formats so viewing might be difficult
I'm sure it could help. However, I can't open the files. It automatically opens in wordpad with a bunch of stuff I can't read
you need a CAD program to read them or something to convert them to a jpg or bmp
all I have that can convert an image to jpg or bmp is adobe photoshop. Last I checked that couldn't open a CAD file 😞
The file are dxf files you can get edrawing free from solidworks that will display the drawing and allow to save to jpg or bmp file.
You can get edrawing here. http://www.solidworks.com/sw/products/free-cad-software-downloads.htm
hope it helps.
hey, thanks everyone! that looks like what I needed...
now I guess all that's left to do is figure out exactly how to model it🙂
what schemes are you looking and what are you aiming for as an end product
pretty much any a/c but right now I'm going to try a UPS 747. It's one I've had a LOT of trouble finding. Eventually I want to try at a VC too.
